Check Out Latest New Samsung Ufs Memory Card Which Records 5gb Video In 30 Seconds

Wellcom back superbazers Samsung announced their first Universal
Flash Storage(UFS) memory card, which have
the same dimensions to the normal microSD
cards we {superbaze} use in our device. But guess what,
they are 5 times faster and absurdly with
read rates of up to 530 megabytes per
second.

The Korean UFS memory card with UHS-1
standard can reach the speed of
approximately 95 MB/s. Well, the enormous
advantage of the Korean UFS is the input
and output operation per second (IOPS):
The normal microSD card we use in our
device have reaches not more than 1800
IOPS while this new UFS memory card
reaches 40,000 IOPS.

The idea behind this is that Users can now
easily use this UFS memory card in high end
cameras to capture high quality pictures and
to film or record 360° videos in high
resolution, like:- a HD video of about 5gb
would take only 30 seconds to be recorded
on the memory card due to its 170 MB/s
constant write speed, virtual reality 3D
cameras, DSLRs and drones.

Jung-bae Lee who is the senior Vice
President of Memory Product Planning &
Application Engineering at Samsung, made a
statement that “Our new 256GB UFS card will
provide an ideal user experience for digitally-
minded consumers and lead the industry in
establishing the most competitive memory
card solution”. Therefore, the UFS memory
cards will simultaneously allow both writing
and reading of data, which doubles the
bandwidth capacity.superbaze

At this moment there's no smartphone for
sale which supports the Korean standard UFS
Memory cards, but, I think it would be no
surprise if the much anticipated Galaxy S8 or
Galaxy note 7 comes with the UFS slot.

The new Samsung UFS memory cards will be
available in 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB.
