Blu releases Pure XR via Amazon

Blu is not currently on the level with other smartphone behemoths like Apple and Samsung, nor is it close to even midlevel Chinese manufacturers like Oppo and OnePlus. However they are starting to make their name producing discount smartphones at rock bottom prices. Their partnership with Amazon by selling discounted units with ads enabled has also greatly expanded their reach.
The newest offering from Blu is the Pure XR is their attempt at a top end flagship phone- all at a price that would get you mid level at another manufacturer. Coming in at 299 the Pure XR does not offer an Amazon coupon or discount for having ads but it is still very competitively priced for the market segment.


On the outside the Blu Pure XR is built the same as many other flagships- steeped in aluminum with a very heavy and solid feel. All materials are indistinguishable from those used by the big boys.


The features list is very impressive for such a cheap handset. The display is 5.5 inches and built with 3D alongside GG3. The 8 core Mediatek Helio p10 powers this bad boy and it comes with 64gb of native storage. The camera is a solid 16 megapixel with the selfie cam coming in at 8. The battery is also a decent size at 3000 mAh.

Charging quickly comes through a USB TYPE C.


The Blu Pure XR is not exactly at the top of the heap but it is incredibly hard to beat for the value. If you are looking for flagship quality without a flagship price it is hard to go wrong with the Blu Pure XR.
