President Buhari comes back home to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived his native home, Daura in Katsina state, on Friday, to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

The president was met by H.E. Aminu Bello Masari, the governor of Katsina state, Alh. Saidu Bard, the former governor of Katsina state, Alh. Mannir Yakubu, the deputy governor of Katsina state, HRM Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, Emir of Katsina state and others at the Umaru Musa Yaradua International Airport Katsina.







The president was met by high-ranking officials and cheering locals


Politicians are listening attentively to the president

Earlier today the president has attended Jumaat Prayers at the Statehouse, where he was joined by Senate president Bukola Saraki and National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno.

Muhammadu Buhari was born on 17 December 1942, in Daura, where he was brought up by his mother since age four
Recall that the federal government has announced September 12, 13 as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
