Gotv Slashes Prices Of Its Bouquets, Adds More Sports Channels
In May, Multichoice’s GOtv announced an increment in the prices of its GOtv Value bouquet from Kshs. 599 to Kshs. 650. Today, the pay tv service provider has reversed this decision and also made changes to its other packages through a price reductions and addition of new channels.
GOtv Value bouquet has now seen its price slashed by 28% from KSh. 650 to Ksh. 470 per month. GOtv Lite bouquet on the other hand will now be charged at KSh. 160 per month or Ksh. 375 per quarter or Ksh. 840 per annum down from Kshs. 1800. GOtv Plus, GOtv’s most premium bouquet will see its price remains Ksh. 920 per month. The price of the GOtv decoder and GOtenna has also gone down to Ksh. 2999 from the previous cost of Ksh. 3999.
Gotv Lite now gives users access to 16 channels from the previous 14 with the addition of Emmanuel TV and SuperSort Blitz to the bouquet. GOtv Value subscribers will continue to have access to 25 channels including sports, news, general entertainment and religious content. GOtv Plus will now give users access to over 40 channels including Africa Magic channels, Mnet Movies Zone, SuperSport 2, SuperSport Blitz and local free to air channels. GOtv Plus subscribers will also have access to 3 new SuperSport channels SuperSport 5, SuperSport 7 and SuperSport 12 dedicated to the broadcast of the Olympic Games beginning August 5, 2016.
