Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus Is The Tablet For Binge-Watching

Lenovo has announced the the Yoga Tab 3 Plus at this year’s IFA in Berlin, Germany. The new Android tablet focuses on delivering entertainment-centric features like high-quality audio and video.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus comes with a 10.1-inch display with a 1440p or 2K screen resolution. The display also features Technicolor Color Enhance picture rendering technology which should be able to deliver cinema-like viewing experience on the tablet.

Underneath, the Yoga Tab 3 comes with Qualcomm’s 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.

The Yoga Tab 3 Plus features four front-facing JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos 3D to deliver high-quality audio. The tablet packs an impressive 9,300 mAh battery that comes with 24w fast charge support via its USB Type-C port, according to 9To5Google. Lenovo says that the Yoga Tab 3 Plus should have 18 hours of battery life under normal usage.

Lenovo’s main goal with this device is to deliver an Android tablet that’s capable of providing users with the best mobile entertainment system that is up to par with the experience a PC provides.

“We’re moving from a PC market where one size fits all to one of multiple sizes and fits. Consumers want to be able to choose the form factor that best meets their lifestyle needs, not adapt their lifestyle to new technology,” Lenovo’s Senior VP Johnson Jia said.

Lenovo wants its users to be able watch movies and TV shows for long hours on the Yoga Tab 3 Plus. Due to the combination of a very large battery capacity, four speakers and a very impressive adaptive display, the Yoga Tab 3 Plus seems more like a mobile TV than anything else.

The Yoga Tab 3 Plus also fully supports Lenovo Media Cast which allows users to stream from other devices through Bluetooth or through Miracast.

Lenovo says the Yoga Tab 3 Plus will be available to purchase sometime in October and will sell for just $299, according to CNET.
